Legal Secretary
Salary: £Competitive
Location: Kidderminster
The Legal Secretary will provide effective secretarial and administrative support within the Commercial Property division. They will carry out tasks to the highest standards, adhering to firm guidelines and policies to ensure outstanding client service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Assist with file management, including openings/closures and consistent file reviews
Complete Land Registry applications, SDLT returns, and Companies House registrations under the direction of Fee Earner or Partner
Complete conveyancing search applications as required
Promptly action dictations and support document production
Ensure accurate time recording of all work undertaken by the Fee Earner
Attend to clients and others on behalf of Fee Earner or Partner, taking accurate instructions
Undertake secretarial/administrative tasks as requested by Fee Earner, including typing and phone calls
Skills
Competent touch and audio typist
Experience with data entry and/or text processing
IT literate with Microsoft Office suite experience
Effective interpersonal and telephone communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Committed to excellent client service
Shorthand skills desirable
