Legal Secretary

Salary: up to £25,000 p.a. depending on experience

A Top 100 Law Firm is seeking a full-time Legal Secretary join their Housing department in their central Newcastle office. The department focuses on litigating for claimants against social housing providers. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to develop their legal secretarial career further in a brilliant law firm with great prospects and a fantastic work environment. Duties to include:

• Document management, opening and closing files and archiving
• Preparing and submitting court applications
• Managing Fee Earner diaries, arranging room bookings with administrators
• Liaising with clients, taking instructions
• Ensuring AML documentation is completed accurately and following guidelines
• Preparation and amendment of documents and correspondence.

Previous Legal Secretary experience within Litigation is advantageous but not essential. You must have strong IT/ MS Office and communication skills.
