Well established Surrey based law firm with excellent local reputation are recruiting a
Legal Secretary to work in their Cranleigh office to provide support to fee earner(s) within their
Residential Property Department. This role will be to assist an experience
Residential Property Partner in their day to day work by providing support and an efficient secretarial and administrative service. This position would suit someone who is looking to work within a small friendly busy team and happy to take the lead on tasks in order to best support your department and team.
Key Responsibilities- Providing full secretarial support with excellent knowledge of the Residential Property process including but not limited to; carrying out searches, producing completion statements and assisting generally with pre and post completion work.
- Production of accurate and timely correspondence, contributing to the management of client files, assisting with the smooth running of the client transaction, contributing to the overall conveyancing cycle and having the ability to produce various documents without assistance.
- Liaison with clients and third parties by telephone or in person ensuring delivery of exceptional client service.
Requirements- Legal Secretary experience preferably within Residential Property
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of the conveyancing cycle
- Audio transcription skills
- Fast accurate typing ability
- Experience of using case management system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly & professional attitude
- IT literate - Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook/ Digital Audio software
