Legionella Remedial Plumber (FM) Location: Southern England Carbon60 are looking to recruit an experienced plumbing and heating engineer to join their mobile maintenance team covering the North-West London area. Permanent - Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm Ability to obtain a BPSS - Basic pre-employment. Role: We are looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Plumber focusing on the water industry. You'll be responsible for carrying out legionella risk assessments manually and electronically, ensure that risk assessment paperwork and reports are completed correctly and returned and carry out other operational work from time to time to ensure contractual commitments are met. You will also Undertake legionella risk assessments in accordance with: Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 (Fourth edition. Technical guidance documents of HSG274. British standard code of practice for Risk assessing BS8580-1 2019. Health Technical Memorandum 04-01: Safe Water in Healthcare Premises. Required: NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing. The ideal candidate will need a qualification in a City and Guilds Risk Assessing course (or equivalent) and experience in Legionella risk assessing. A wide knowledge of the above risk assessment guidelines as well as sufficient experience in working in the water treatment industry and a strong knowledge of health and safety. You'll be commercially aware and have good planning skills, have strong IT literacy, the ability to use a PDA to evidence compliance and productivity and be able draw schematic diagrams. You'll need to have a full UK drivers' licence with less than 6 points and be able to work as a part of a team and under your own supervision.
