Escape Recruitment is working in partnership with a Plumbing and Heating contractor with a dedicated water division - who have a new full-time, permanent position available for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. The role will be working on sites within central Scotland with some travel across the UK as required.
Job Duties:
- Ensuring and supporting health & safety standards and practices while on-site and through our service delivery standards.
- Ensuring customer and business compliance with all relevant industry standards and guidance for
Acop L8, HSG 274 Parts 1,2 & 3, BS 8580 Legionella Risk Assessment, BS 8554 - Sampling & Monitoring of H&C Systems and Water Regulations.
- Problem-solving and fault diagnosing of water and plumbing systems while on site and making any necessary recommendations for any highlighted remedial actions or maintenance where required.
- Compiling accurate schematic diagrams/drawings of the site water systems.
- Ensuring that the completed relevant documentation is completed to a high standard and issued to the customer within agreed timeframes.
- Liaise with the helpdesk team to ensure workload is completed and agreed SLAs are met.
- Be able to read and understand site-specific Rams.
- Must be happy to travel to sites across the UK as required - potentially on occasion by working away from home.
Qualifications:
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in carrying out site-based risk assessments.
- City & Guilds - Risk Assessment for Legionella Control in water systems or equivalent.
- Full Clean UK Driving License - mobile role.
Desirable
- Water Regulations Certification.
- Plumbing Level 2 / 3 Qualification.
Package:
- Salary - £26,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience).
- Van + fuel card.
- Death in service benefit.
- Holidays 33 days.
- Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
