SalaryA market leading Independent agent in Leicestershire who are very customer focused are now seeking a Lettings Negotiator / Property Manager for their busy office. The successful candidate will be experienced, of smart appearance and a willingness to succeed. Key Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
- Booking and conducting property inspections and viewings
- Administrating new tenancy agreements and rent increases
- Coordinating with contractors in regards to maintenance and/or repair requirements
- Managing tenancy deposits, and discussing and resolving rental arrears
- Ensuring all properties meet current regulatory health and safety standards
- Undertaking the full lettings process and communicating with Tenants, Landlords and Contractors to manage any issues through to resolution
- Facilitating tenants' on moving in day (check in) including all associated legally required paperwork, inventories etc. and moving out/contract end date (check out) procedures
- Other general office duties
Essential Skills of a Property Manager candidate
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 2+ year previous experience in a Property Manager/Lettings role
- Candidates must have the ability to prioritise work as well as show flexibility to all aspects of the role. It will be essential you can multi task without compromising service standards
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Strong IT skills
- You must have a flexible approach and positive attitude reflecting the companies core values of honesty and integrity
- Strong attention to detail
- Persistent and tenacious
- You must have great customer service skills, be able to communicate confidently, clearly and be well-spoken and have the ability to set and manage client and colleague expectations.
- Natural ability to trouble shoot with a keen desire to succeed
- ARLA qualification would be preferred but not essential as training will be given
In reward we can offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
The hours of work are Monday - Friday
Occasional Saturdays maybe required (With time off in Lieu)
