Boxall Brown & Jones are a leading independent Firm of Estate Agents and Chartered Surveyors who have been established in Derby for over 35 years. Due to an ever increasing growth within their residential property section, we are looking for an experienced Lettings Property Manager to work at our head office in Derby. Applicants should have a strong background in Property Management and be up to date with current lettings legislation.
Main duties to include:
- Visit properties to undertake periodic inspections and report back to landlord using bespoke property management software.
- Ensure that property maintenance issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner and process invoices for payment
- Book interim inspections
- Tenancy agreement renewal and annual rent reviews
- Accept and process tenant, notices and agree remarketing with clients
- Processing closing inspection documents for agreement
- Seek new business through prospecting new and existing clients
Essential skills required for the Property Manager role:
- Lettings Property Management experience
- Great Customer Service skills
- Organisational and problem solving skills
- Articulate
- Full driving license and use of your own vehicle (Business mileage paid by Boxall Brown & Jones)
- IT literate
