Role Outline
We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice at Burnley Nursery in Burnley. You will contribute to a high quality caring environment for children, whilst training for the post of Nursery Nurse. This includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally.

Upon completion of this course you will gain a Level 2 qualification as an Early Years Practitioner.

Your Responsibilities
Key duties
To work with children
To attend training
To complete all assignments set

To liaise with mentor and assessor
General duties
Contribute to good standards of hygiene and cleanliness in Nursery
To undertake other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined by the Nursery
Manager from time to time
To comply with the nursery’s Policies and Procedures
To respect the confidentiality of information received
To ensure the provision of a high quality environment to meet the needs of individual children
To be aware of the high profile of the nursery and to uphold its standards at all times
To be aware of all emergency and fire evacuation procedures
To be flexible in hours and duties in order to meet the needs and requirements of the
nursery
