Brief Description
We are looking for Camden residents who are interested in completing a Level 2 Fenestration Installation apprenticeship. The successful candidate will spend 18 months working as a Fenestration Apprentice as part of the CITB Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. Employed by Evolve Apprentices

Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Working alongside an experienced team member to remove old and install new UPVC windows to occupied properties within the local area. You will not be required to drive; full training and supervision will be provided.
The broad purpose of this occupation is the on-site installation of a wide range of replacement and new build fenestration products in a property or structure. This could include,
- Windows, doors, bi-fold doors, and conservatories
- Installers work with a broad range of materials, (e.g., PVC-U, aluminium, steel, timber and composite
- Working on a wide variety of building structures and building methods
- Ensuring you meet installation quality standards and deadlines
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The qualification you would gain is the Level 2 Fenestration (Standard) where we will be looking to partner with a training provider or college to provide the training.
This training will mainly be through remote learning or attending college on day a week, with a paid study time as needed up to 7 hours/1 day per week. You are expected to travel when necessary for training and/or assessments. You will be responsible to managing/arranging with your line manager.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On completion of this apprenticeship, you can work as a qualified Fenestration Installer where, with more experience, you can look to progress into a senior fenestration position or work your way up to a foreman/supervisor position. With experience and drive, you could end up as a manager or even run your own company.
You will be eligible for the Skilled Worker (Blue) CSCS Card on completion of the apprenticeship.
