Nursery Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Nurse to join our all-year-round nursery in Ealing. The role involves working on a rota basis between the hours of 8am and 6pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about childcare and are committed to personal development within the field.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide high-quality care and education to children according to their individual needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development.
• Work in partnership with parents and carers to support children’s well-being.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for the children.
• Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress, sharing outcomes with the team and parents.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to the nursery’s continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
• Candidates with a qualification in Health and Social Care may be considered if committed to undertaking a new childcare course at their own expense while still working at the nursery.
• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare is required for those seeking part-time positions.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly within a team and adapt to the changing needs of children.
• Term-time only contracts may be considered.
