Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Step Teachers are working with a "Good" Ofsted-rated Primary School in Enfield to find a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2024. This Level 3 Teaching Assistant would be working in a class of Key Stage 1 pupils, providing additional support to children including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The school is eager to find a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is ready to engage with pupils, build strong relationships, and contribute to their safe and friendly educational atmosphere.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Role:

• Making a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities.
• Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
