Do you have the skills to communicate with students in our multi-cultural 11-16 school?
From September 2024 the school will be changing designation from a single sex school to a coeducational school. We are seeking an EAL Co-ordinator Grade 3 Qualified to support teaching staff in the development and education of our pupils and to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupils to whom you are assigned.
We have an extensive support and CPD programme. There are opportunities to receive training in Lexonik and various CPD opportunities through the Chartered College of Teaching.
We are looking for an experienced individual who possesses effective communication skills.
You will:
- have GCSE in English and mathematics at grade A*-C or equivalent
- have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- have a minimum of two years’ experience of working with children and young people
- have experience of using good communication and interpersonal skills
- have experience of undertaking a range of administrative tasks
- be a self- motivated and enthusiastic worker
A willingness to learn and an enthusiasm for working with young people are essential as well as an approachable and professional manner.
