Progressive Sports are looking for positive, reliable Sports Coaches Apprentices and educators to help inspire thousands of children across the Cheshire & Liverpool region.

The Position We are seeking a Level 4 Sports Coach Apprentice (30 hours per week) who is eager to develop a long-term career working in the sports and dance coaching industry and is looking to take their current coaching knowledge to the next level. Through training and mentoring, you will advance your skills and experience, learning school curriculum expectations and requirements, gaining the knowledge to teach and coach to exceptional standards. This role requires someone already qualified to level 2 coaching standard, passionate, creative, and ambitious, who is ready to nurture children and young adults to live healthy and active lifestyles.

Responsibilities:
Achieve development aims as dictated by your training schedule
Complete compulsory qualifications
Complete all lesson paperwork and admin
Deliver fun, engaging, and educational lessons within a school environment
Deliver and assist morning and afterschool club activities
Deliver and assist PE sessions
Assist with the development and organisation of projects and schemes of work Knowledge and Experience Requirements
At least 1 years’ experience working in a school environment.
NVQ Level 2 in activity leadership or PE and School Sport (desirable)
Level 1 Coaching Badge
Level 2 Coaching Badge
Basic written and numeracy skills
IT literate Self-motivated and committed; wanting to perform to a high standard at work
A proven track record in completing an NVQ qualification
A drivers licence and car are essential
Must be prepared to work within Cheshire & Liverpool
