LGBT+ Volunteer Speaker in Schools

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people's charity.

We work with schools and young people across the UK to support LGBT+ young people to thrive.

If you're LGBT+, age 18-25 and living in the UK, you can volunteer on our Ambassador Programme:

• Speak in Schools to help stop anti-LGBT+ bullying
• Take part in skills workshops, such as leadership and wellbeing
• Write for national media outlets
• Get an LGBT+ career mentor
• Meet LGBT+ friends

Through their volunteering, ambassadors use their voices and lived experiences to champion LGBT+ equality in Schools, workplaces and online. Ambassadors deliver talks to school pupils all across the UK, speak on panels and share their perspectives through exciting media opportunities. In addition, ambassadors gain access to training and workshops which help them to develop a range of skills, build experience and can even be paired with an LGBT+ mentor.
