About the role
Working within our professional and established Licensing team, you’ll support the Licensing Manager to deliver an efficient and effective licensing and Burial and Cemetery service. You’ll be responsible for providing an efficient administrative service which will include being the first point of contact on our Licensing and Cemeteries Service Helpline. You’ll also assist with the processing of licenses, permissions and permits under the Licencing Act 2003 and play a key role in ensuring that our in-house database remains up to date.
About you
With a good level of education and previous administrative/clerical experience, you’ll be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to deal with sensitive matters with compassionate and empathy.
