We currently have an exciting opportunity to join East Suffolk Services Transport, Fleet and Workshop Team as a Light Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
Your role
As part of our Workshops Team, you will inspect, service, maintain, diagnose, and repair vehicles to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet health and safety and legal requirements.
You will also attend breakdown callouts and ensure all internal and external customers receive excellent customer service. This role is Monday to Friday with only the occasional Saturday which provides a good work-life balance.
What you will need
You will be a hard-working team player, who can work on their own initiative, using their technical expertise to make sound judgements.
You will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance Repair, IRTEC registered and a City and Guilds full technical certificate in motor vehicle studies.
A Category B Driving Licence is an essential requirement of this role.
