Motus Truck & Van have an exciting opportunity for an outgoing & proactive individual, developing skills in vehicle maintenance & repair. Working in a busy environment, representing the brand by exceeding our customer’s expectations & delivering an unparalleled level of service & quality.What you will do in your working dayAs a Light Vehicle (Van) Technician, you will service and repair all systems within a vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes, including engine and exhaust systems, air conditioning and electronics. Work will range from replacing parts to solving complex faults using diagnostic methods and equipment. With evermore-complex technologies, the tasks are constantly changing.You will learn the key principles, practices and skills that underpin the role before further developing and applying your skills in more complex situations.
The training you will be gettingWorking towards a Level 3 Motor vehicle Service and Maintenance Light VehicleTechnician Apprenticeship you will learn the key principles, practices and skills that underpin the role before further developing and applying your skills in more complex situations.If you have an apt for practical work, like to work independently but at the same time operate as a member of a team and offer good customer handling skills then this could be the role for you!Delivery method and location of training to be confirmed. Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation. Functional Skills in English and maths available if required.

Things to consider
Please ensure that you have the ability to travel to the place of employment daily and consider this in relation to potential wages. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
