Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician with a passion for automotive maintenance and repair? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join a reputable garage based on the north Norfolk coast.
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of customers' vehicles while providing top-notch service.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and suspension or steering issues.
• Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre changes, and brake inspections.
• Weld and fabricate metal parts as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Follow schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs in a clear and professional manner.

Requirements:
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication techniques.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labour.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs.
