Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled Line Leader / Production Team Leader to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The Line Leader / Production Team Leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production staff to achieve targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities on the production line to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production processes, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to uphold product quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train new employees on production procedures and ensure adherence to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members and other departments.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to address challenges.
