Litigation Support Officer
Temporary assignment for 1 year with a possible extension
£14.43 per hour

Key Task Areas and Duties:
" Support the delivery of key business priorities and help to build and develop a strong business management ethos to deliver an excellent service.
" Organising counsel
" Support BM colleagues (eg covering periods of leave)
" Preparing letters, Court documents and instructions to Counsel using the relevant templates.
" Assisting case officers / lawyers in their legal research, using data from electronic resources.
" Assisting in the finding and booking of Counsel for advice, conferences and hearings.
" Liaising with a range of stakeholders when overseeing the dispatch, collection and return of case documents including through arranging couriers and via internal processes.
" Maintaining and processing electronic records according to processes.
" Document management, including collation of by hard copies or electronic format as necessary for disclosure and hearings.
" Help with hearing preparation, including liaising with the relevant tribunals and courts.
" Printing/sharing bundles, dealing with audio/video files and completing other necessary administrative arrangements.
" Arranging travel and accommodation.
" Undertaking a variety of tasks necessary to ensure compliance with Quality Policies and Procedures (QPP), which underpin its Lexcel accreditation.
" Contributing to and helping manage the team`s knowledge management area on digital platform
" Taking minutes - as needed - of team meetings.
