Live In Carer - £1363.60 Per Week

Our client is a 28 year old gentleman with Cerebral Palsy; living in his own adapted home in the Ashton area of Bristol.

We are recruiting for a Live-in Carer Support Worker / Live In Personal Assistant to provide care and to our client in his own home.

Your working pattern will be 1 week on & 1 week off will working with and alongside our client's daily Support Worker. (regular & experienced Premier Homecare Support workers support the Live In Carer with our client during the day & evening).

You would be helping to support with our client’s personal care needs including:

• Personal care / toileting.
• Supporting to keep the home clean and tidy, including laundry.
• Medication administration.
• Support to ensure the client has a fulfilled life and continues daily to complete activities which interests him and help him live life to its fullest. Our client has a great sense of humour and enjoys being sociable and talking about his favourite football team! He loves to go out and about, on day trips and visiting his regular social clubs.

Applicants will have the following:

• Ideally have experience of caring for someone with Cerebral Palsy.
• You must be a car driver, hold a full drivers licence and be comfortable/willing to drive an adapted vehicle.
• Be able to work well in a team.
• Have plenty of patience and have a calm nature.
• Be compassionate and understanding.
• PEG feeding experience is desirable.
• Bowel irrigation experience is desirable.

Full training, specific to our client's Live-in Care Support worker role will be provided along with second-to-none ongoing support from a CQC-rated ‘Outstanding’ Care Provider.
