Have you got an eye for detail and excellent longevity in your previous roles? My client wants to hear from you! They are looking for a top notch traditional style Housekeeper/cook with an eye for detail who can keep their London residence to immaculate standards.
The role is primarily housekeeping to a high standard as well as cooking for the principals when they are in residence- they travel a lot and this is not their main residence. Generally the cooking requirement is just good, healthy family style but should be able to cook occasionally for small dinner parties. . We are looking for someone with excellent longevity in previous roles who is proactive, takes pride in their work and will make the role their own.
The position can be Live in all the time, OR just Live in on your working days and you can return home on your days off- as you prefer
Accommodation: 1 bedroom self contained studio flat with private entrance.
General duties:
- Hands on Cleaning to high standard
- Care of fine furnishings and special surfaces- inc marble
- Laundry and ironing of fine fabrics
- Wardrobe management and packing suitcases
- Changing beds
- Cooking to a good family-style standard ( EG Sunday Roast) – ability to cater for small dinner parties
- Meeting and greeting guests, dealing with tradespeople/ deliveries
- Household Shopping
- Errands / dry cleaners / post office
Candidate requirements:
- Discretion and confidentiality are essential.
- Fluent English and strong communication skills are required.
- Confident cook
- Previous longevity in recent roles.
- Non-smoker
- Ability to manage your time
