- Gain hands-on experience by working with an assigned team specializing in pan-European Living, including build-to-rent, student housing, senior living and hospitality assets.
- Work on possible assignments such as vetting potential investments, assisting with research on new markets and product types and investigating new business lines.
- Assist with the underwriting of new projects and asset management of operating properties and new investments.
- Work on Hines's top-quality assets with daily exposure to highly seasoned real estate professionals.
- Contribute meaningfully to processes and decisions that impact Hines’ world-renowned properties through market research, due diligence, financial analysis, and a range of other responsibilities.
- 3-6 month internship with ability to start around summer 2024.
- Will be in-person in Hines’ London offices with some potential travel.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in real estate, finance, business, or related field. Early careers Masters’ students (e.g., MIM, MFA, MAM) with 1-3 years of work experience preferred.
- Previous internship experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Real estate experience is not required, however, an understanding of general finance concepts is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong modelling skills are not a requirement but preferred.
