The Loaf Brigade is a small in-house delivery team with enhanced skills and experience, acting as Loaf ambassadors. The aim of the Loaf Brigade is to give exceptional service, going above and beyond for customers who feel let down in their journey, turning it back into a positive experience.

This role will have responsibility for driving our Loaf Brigade vehicles and distributing our gorgeous Loaf products to our VIP Loaf customers. Assembling our products in the customers room of choice and providing an exceptional customer experience.

Some of what the job involves (key areas):

• Picking, inspection and loading of products with the utmost care from the warehouse onto delivery vehicles. Ensuring products leave the warehouse and are transported and delivered in perfect condition without being compromised.
• Navigation of route planning technology software to execute daily deliveries.
• To manoeuvre and carry bulky furniture into a room of choice. The ability to problem solve to successfully deliver large items where there may be entrance and space constraints.
• Successfully completing deliveries. Ensuring these are delivered with photographic evidence of products in situ and with recipient signature to confirm delivery.
• Clear communication on the outcome of each delivery to Loaf's delivery team and route planning software. The confidence to escalate where necessary.
• The collection and return of undelivered products or return orders back to the warehouse.
• Precise yet efficient assembly of products in recipient's room of choice.
• Keeping abreast of any new products and product changes and other training requirements to ensure the Loaf Brigade are at the top of their game and are expert in all Loaf products.
• To follow and abide by safety standards at all times.
• Respecting the recipient's property, taking the utmost care at all times throughout the delivery journey.
• Responsible for the Loaf Brigade vehicle, its general maintenance and cleanliness. Ensuring the vehicle has the correct tools, spare parts and other specified items required to carry out all types of deliveries.
• To drive and manoeuvre Loaf's vehicles in a responsible and safe manner.
• To build a good working relationship between the Loaf Brigade, Warehouse and the Loaf Deliveries Team.
• Brand Ambassador, as the face of Loaf, excellent customer service at all times is essential.

To set you up for success, we're looking for the following:

• Previous experience as a delivery driver.
• Valid full UK driver's licence with no traffic violations.
• Excellent practical driving skills.
• Patience and a polite attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• A reasonable level of fitness.
• Knowledge of furniture and basic repair.
• Strong verbal, writing and listening skills is essential.
• Confidence and common sense.
• Ability to work well within a team.

What's it like working at Loaf?

This role will be based from Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Normal hours of work will be 8-5 Monday to Friday with flexibility needed to cover the contracted hours of 7-7 Monday to Saturday.
