- Handling and assessing affordability of potential borrowers affordability
- Underwriting loans to mitigate risk from initial contact through to practical loan completion
- Analysing the UK real estate market and considering appetite for future lending
- Handling post loan matters from development funding to granting of leases
- Managing live loan portfolio to ensure performance continues throughout term
Personal Qualification
- Strong numerical skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Particularly Excel)
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience dealing with client correspondence via phone/outlook
- Understanding of UK real estate
- Understanding of national interest rate fluctuations and impact on RE
Please note that this role does not require an individual with previous experience as an underwriter but must understand Credit in the Real Estate Market thoroughly.
