SalaryOur client require a technical Finance Manager to lead the closedown for a 6 month contract to start ASAP. You must have experience in this role working for another local authority/council. You can work from home / fully remote.
- Responsible for the delivery of effective and compliant financial accounting for all financial resources
- Accountable for managing and delivering effective reporting including the annual accounts
- Development of system information across the organisation liaising with non-financial and financial stakeholders
- Management of year-end and close down processes through busy month end and annual accounts
- Ability to understand and apply technical accounting standards
