A highly reputable Local Authority in the South West is seeking a Senior Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their friendly team for an initial 3 - 6 month period with the strong view for extension.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with experience of working within local auhtority to join a friendly and supportive team.
Candidates can work on a fully remote basis, but can attend the office if they wish to do so.
Responsibilities for the Contracts Lawyer will include but are not limited to:
- Routine and complex contract and procurement matters
- Preparing, negotiating, and advising on all aspects relating to legal projects
- Advising and negotiating Contractual agreements
The role will also include supervision/mentoring of two other team members and so we would welcome applications from those who also have an interest in people management.
