We are currently recruiting for aLogistics Administrator to work for a company based in Willingham. The ideal candidate will assist with daily operations of the fleet and be responsible for ensuring resource planning and deployment to meet time schedules.
The role is a full time, permanent position working between 8:30am- 5:00pm and they’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Typical duties would include:
- Ensure daily tasks are carried out efficiently providing the highest standards of customer service.
- Effectively dealing with risk management minimising impacts to client’s deliveries.
- Liaising between drivers, customers and marketing teams.
- Being the key point of contact for customers regarding their deliveries and orders.
- Monitor fuel expenditure and carry out analysis to find ways to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
- Ensure the website and social media accounts are up to date to encourage enquiries.
- Develop and build new relationships and dealing with customer enquiries.
The Successful Candidate:
- Commercially astute with strong organisation skills.
- High drive for continuous improvement in ways of working with organised and flexible approach.
- Analytical with capability to identify a logical plan of action.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office
