Logistics Analyst

We are working with a specialist logistics company that provides customs clearance and compliance services to a wide range of clients, including some of the most high-profile brands in the world. We are looking for an Analyst to work with one of their key accounts, handling various aspects of shipping and customs operations.

As a Logistics Analyst, you will be responsible for:
• Answering clearance queries from customers and suppliers
• Working in and managing systems for import and export transactions
• HS Code Classification for different products and commodities
• Preferential origin management to ensure compliance with trade agreements.
• Clearance audits to verify accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Assisting with shipping and receipting teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Liaising with suppliers and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Excel experience with Vlookups, formulas and pivot tables, or
• A degree in economics or business management, or
• Customs compliance experience in a similar role
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude
• A willingness to learn and develop your skills.
• A team player mentality

This is an entry-level role but offers full training and a direct pathway to a long-term career in logistics andor trade analytics. You will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for progression and development. You will also enjoy:

salary of £24,000 to £28,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications
