Our client are a successful SME who important and distribution equipment to the technology sector.
Description
The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse and order processing functions. Managing the flow of incoming and outgoing goods and stock items. Assisting with the pre-build and assembly of products. Processing orders for the UK and overseas Customers. Invoicing customers and dealing with queries via phone and email. You will work closely with the Sales departments. Preparing inventory forecasts to ensure stock levels are managed effectively. Excellent customer service skills and a willingness and desire to explore alternative solutions.
Profile
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Experience in a similar role running a small warehouse / stores operations and supporting with the wider logistics responsibilities.
- Meticulous and accurate with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team.
- Experience of using CRM and or WMS
- Knowledge of SAP system.
- Hold a forklift licence - advantageous, not essential.
