Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all pupils.
- Develop and implement engaging and differentiated teaching strategies.
- Assess and record pupils’ progress and provide regular feedback to pupils, parents, and carers.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil participation and learning.
- Implement and follow school policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and health and safety.
- Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor and support pupil progress.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff to support pupil learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupils' progress and any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest educational practices and policies.
