Logistics Clerk - Hybrid

6am-6pm 4 on 4 off, LE7 area
Hybrid: 3 days home, 1 day office
salary up to: £30k+ free car park + company laptop
Our client within the Logistics/Distribution industry is seeking a permanent Logistics Clerk based in Leicester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the initial point of contact for depos and drivers.
- Modify and prioritise driver routes promptly, ensuring clear communication through telephone, emails, and SMS.
- Managing multiple accounts
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ensure accurate data input.
- Efficiently plan for optimal load fill and delivery slots.
- Book deliveries with customers.
- Collaborate with other departments within the business.
Ideally you will have:
- Good understanding of driver WTD and driving legislation's
- IT Literate
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Previous working background in transport planning/scheduling or similar
