Logistics Co-ordinator

Citrus Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a leading automotive company, recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join their small but growing team.
 
You will be working in a small warehouse/ production facility in a really varied role which will include stock control, arranging deliveries, dealing with suppliers and working alongside the wider team to ensure customers requirements are met.  
 
The successful candidate will have a logistics background, a full driving license and a Counterbalance FLT license.
 
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Logistics Co-ordinator you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload materials or products within the warehouse.
• Checking incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness
• Use an in-house stock management system to record entry or removal of stock
• Assisting with picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Contact suppliers to confirm shipping dates and liaise with customers when necessary to confirm deliveries and timings
• Work closely with Project team and other team members to ensure SLA’s are adhered to and operations run smoothly

 
Skills & experience required.

• Experience within warehouse or logistics-related environment
• Counterbalance FLT license
• Full driving license
• Understanding & experience of stock control
• Knowledge of using Microsoft Excel/Microsoft databases to enter data
• Excellent communication and administration skills – must be able to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Superb attention to detail
• Ability to deal with pressure and changing priorities

 
Benefits

• Salary of up to £27,000
• Hours 7-4 Mon – Thurs, Fri 7-12
• 20 days holiday plus bank holiday plus Christmas shutdown
• Pension
