Our Automotive Technology R&D company require a Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
You'll be supporting the engineering and operations function with the planning and execution of new product development and launch.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Raising Purchase Orders where necessary.
- Liaise with engineering team to schedule material demand and production plans accordingly.
- Generate and issue schedules for pre-production and prototype builds.
- Liaise with Logistics Manager / Senior Buyer to ensure the supply of materials are sourced in line with pre-production requirements.
- Stock management and reporting.
- Support to Logistics Manager.
- Organise shipments, including relevant invoices and delivery notes.
- Analyse and prepare documents needed for production.
Experience:
- A blend of iQ and eQ with the ability to solve new problems in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Working in a regulated or complex stores/inventory management environment.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- IT skills, ability to learn new software skills quickly.
- A team player with a can-do attitude who works well in a range of teams.
- Automotive experience would be beneficial.
