Our client is a large multi-site manufacturing and logistics company with ongoing business growth and expansion in its business. As a result, there is an immediate recruitment for a new Logistics & Transport Dayshift Team Leader / Frontline Manager (FLM).
This is a day’s position - 4 on 4 off days

Are you:
• A motivational hands-on leader, experienced in coaching and developing a team?
• Great at multi-tasking effectively and thrive on challenge?
• A natural problem solver and organiser, able to make sure your team are meeting their performance requirements?
• As a Logistics & Transport Team Manager , reporting into the Warehouse Manager, you will manage an area of the operation in a busy distribution/warehouse hub.
• You will lead and develop a small team of operatives across, achieving and exceeding your performance targets. Work within daily tight deadlines to ensure customers receive their orders.
What does a successful Dayshift Logistics &Transport Team Manager look like?
• You will allocate resources and your team effectively to maximise area output.
• Monitoring and driving KPIs and taking action to ensure they are all met on a daily and weekly basis.
• Setting performance targets, reviewing progress, and creating action plans
• Spotting and developing talent in your team through coaching and guidance
• You will manage team briefings to keep colleagues informed of performance targets.
• You will Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives in your area.
• Review your team’s KPI performance weekly covering absence, productivity performance, down time etc.
• Support and nurture new starters and those that require additional support.
Our Requirements: Dayshift Logistics and Transport Team Manager
• Experience as a team leader of warehouse frontline manager – Manufacturing/FMCG /3pl /E-Comm preferred.
• Working knowledge of a WMS system is essential.
• Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Management/Supervisory experience within a large-scale production/warehouse operation
• A proven track record of people management and delivering strong results through a team in a people management role.
• Assertiveness with the ability to make decisions on the spot.
• The ability to problem solves
