An exciting new opportunity for you to join YMCA BCG as a Community Project Worker to work on The Wren’s Nest Navigators Project in Dudley. The Wren’s Nest Navigators is project funded by the Lottery Community Fund, and aims to put on FREE activities for the community. These activities offer the community, of all age groups, a safe place to be themselves and also work towards 7 outcomes set out by the Lottery Community Fund.
The role and requirements:
• Motivating and inspiring children and young people aged from 8 up to 18 year of age.
• Engaging and liaising with families, partners and other various organisations.
• Ensure the health and safety of children and young people at all times.
• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Be well organised and have an understanding of Safeguarding.
• To be able to work effectively in teams and as an individual, and always maintain a professional approach to work.
