Are you an experienced Lorry Loader Remote Grab Driver looking for a short-term opportunity in Sheffield? We are currently seeking a skilled individual to provide holiday cover from the 28th of May to the 31st of May.
Role Description: As a Lorry Loader Remote Grab Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating Remote Grab equipment to load and unload materials onto lorries. Your primary duty will be to ensure the smooth and timely transfer of goods, adhering to all relevant safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Remote Grab equipment to load and unload materials onto lorries.
- Safely manoeuvre the grab to pick up and deposit materials as per job requirements.
- Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
Requirements:
- Valid Lorry Loader Remote Grab Driver certification.
- Proven experience in operating Remote Grab equipment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Flexibility to work the specified hours from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Location and Hours:
- Location: Sheffield
- Hours: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
- Pay: £18 per hour
