LOST PROPERTY ASSISTANT | £10.58 per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our busy team as a Lost Property Assistant.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the smooth running of the Lost Property department.
Responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining records with regard Lost Property, including stock levels and keeping up to date logs of Lost Property and enquires
- Dealing with general Lost Property queries and postage of items claimed
- Assisting with the delivery and collection of Lost Property from around the village
- Liaising with guests and all levels of staff regarding Lost Property queries and facilitating the return of property to guests
- Adhering to security policies in relation to property and keys
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 105 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will typically be on Mondays and Fridays, either 9am-2pm or 1pm-6pm, and between 9am and 4pm midweek. You will be required to work every other weekend.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
Essential requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 6 months
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Desirable requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous, however full training will be provided
