Staincliffe is a popular, successful Junior School with wonderful children and a talented and dedicated team of staff and governors.
We are now looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to provide cover during the midday break with an element of working with a small number of pupils with additional needs as well as general supervision.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Organise and support appropriate lunchtime play activities and encourage good behaviour in accordance with the practices of the school.
- You should be able to engage children in play activities.
- React in a positive manner to difficult situations which may arise amongst children.
- It is essential that you have the ability to relate to children from diverse ethnic/social backgrounds as well as having good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children and other members of staff.
We can offer you:
- Staff who are dedicated and work together as an inclusive team.
- A successful Church School at the heart of a diverse community.
- Friendly, enthusiastic children with excellent attitudes to learning.
“Staincliffe is a school where the children’s joy of learning and their respect, both for each other and their teachers as members of the Staincliffe family, really does shine out.”
