An exciting opportunity has arisen for a diligent and proactive M&A Associate to join this fast-growing private equity-backed backed business South Manchester. The business has doubled in size in the past 2 years, partly organic but largely through acquisitions too.

Description

• Conduct market research to help identify potential M&A opportunities
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence on potential acquisitions.
• Prepare financial models and forecasts for target investments.
• Collaborate with the finance team to analyse financial statements and investment returns.
• Develop and present business cases for new investment opportunities.
• Manage the deal process, preparing presentations, organising virtual data rooms and coordinating projects.
• Support the negotiation of the deal
• Maintain industry awareness and knowledge of market trends within the sector.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to successfully close transactions.
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality and integrity and appreciate the sensitivity around potential M&A transactions.

Profile

A successful M&A Analyst should have:

• ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualification
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Advisory experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
