My client is a large FMCG business based in Manchester. Due to the current incumbent being promoted internally they are recruiting the backfill on a permanent basis into their vibrant and expanding finance team, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-known brand who can offer fantastic scope for development and progression.
As an Accounts Payable Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring the Accounts Payable function is running as effectively and efficiently as possible. This will include overseeing a team of seven clerks to ensure all purchase invoices are processed accurately onto the system, all supplier queries are dealt with and all payments are processed. You will also be involved with process improvements, system improvements and improving the overall efficiency of the Accounts Payable function.
This role will suit a candidate who has a strong background in Accounts Payable and has managed staff in a large, complex organisation. Previous experience improving processes and systems would be highly advantageous to your application.
The salary on offer is paying up to £35,000 dependant on experience with an attractive benefits package that includes hybrid working and flexibility on working hours.
