Job description:

Due to Internal Promotion, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our friendly team in Manchester City Centre. As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you'll manage the responsibilities of the AP team, supporting the AP Manager and driving the Premier Foods strategy. By collaborating across functions and implementing process improvements, you'll help take our Accounts Payable function to the next level.

To excel in this role, you need to be enthusiastic, friendly, and able to build trust. This role requires someone who is confident with difficult conversations and who has experience of working in a Shared Service Centre. You will also be able to remain calm under pressure and is highly organised.

The Key Requirements...

• To manage and develop the performance of the team to achieve efficient and effective team working in Premier Foods.
• Responsible for the delivery of day-to-day performance in line with current business practice and identifying root cause and corrective action where delivery falls below these standards.
• To act as a technical expert in the Query Resolution process area and to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of best practice in Query resolution processes.
• To be a process lead where required, working closely with relevant areas of the business and stakeholders.
• To ensure a high level of understanding business requirements, implement and operate financial controls to a standard that ensures all Financial Controls Framework and Audit requirements are met.
• Driving an engaged team through objective setting, PDR management, 1:1’s, feedback, team meetings; Values and Vision
