Job Description
- Conduct market research to help identify potential M&A opportunities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence on potential acquisitions.
- Prepare financial models and forecasts for target investments.
- Collaborate with the finance team to analyse financial statements and investment returns.
- Develop and present business cases for new investment opportunities.
- Manage the deal process, preparing presentations, organising virtual data rooms and coordinating projects.
- Support the negotiation of the deal
- Maintain industry awareness and knowledge of market trends within the sector.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to successfully close transactions.
- Ensure high standards of confidentiality and integrity and appreciate the sensitivity around potential M&A transactions.
The Successful Applicant
A successful M&A Analyst should have:
- ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualification
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Advisory experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
