Title: Machine Cleaner - JCB
Location: Wrexham, LL13 9UF
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Machine Cleaner who will work at our client’s prestigious site.
Duties of a Machine Cleaner
- To wear the correct work wear garments/uniform supplied by Bidvest Noonan
- during working hours
- To wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times during cleaning
- Operations
- Removing coolant & swarf from machines & cleaning of factory floor as and when required
- To report any damaged work wear or PPE to their Supervisor/Line Manager
- To carry out cleaning duties to the required level as stipulated in the cleaning methods and training sessions. The areas where duties are carried out are widespread across the site and include, but are not restricted to, machine cleans, shop floor cleaning, toilet cleaning, canteen/ rest area cleaning, general cleaning and covering ad hoc duties as required
- To record cleaning activities carried out by the job holder on the relevant sign-off
- paperwork
- To report any accidents or near misses that occur during working hours to both Bidvest Noonan
- Report line and the Client in line with site and Company procedures and policies
Job role requirements for a Machine Cleaner
- Industrial Cleaning / Maintenance experience would be preferred, however full training provided
- Experience as a team leader / supervisor is essential
- Comfortable working both alone and in a team
- Comfortable wearing mask & breathing apparatus
- Full training & uniform provided
