Machine Operator

Job description We are recruiting for the position of Machine Operative in the Blackburn area (BB6) working for a manufacturing company. Details Sunday- Thursday 10pm-6am Lots of overtime available Salary: 14 p/h Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor machines to ensure they are running efficiently and producing quality products - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime - Set up machines for production runs, including adjusting settings and loading materials - Monitor and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Qualifications: - Experience in machine operation or a related field preferred - Knowledge of materials handling, logic controllers, and basic mechanical principles - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team This position requires the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time, and work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must also have good communication skills and be able to follow instructions accurately.
