Location: Slough
Salary: 11.50 - 13.00 Pounds per hour - depending on experience
42.5 hours week, paid 42.5 hours (lunch is paid)
3 rotating shifts Mon-Fri 05:45 - 14:15, 13:45 - 22:15, 21:45 - 06:15 OR Mon - Wed - 18.00 - 06.00, Monday - Thursday 06.00 - 18.00, depending on the business need.
Machine Operators required for a Manufacturing Organization based in Slough.
The role will be temp to perm or perm based on the interview feedback.
We are currently looking for a number of people to join the team.
Position Responsibilities
- Operating all machinery in an efficient and safe manner
- Running and maintaining the production of extrusion and coating lamination, including printing, ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed whilst remaining on track with the production plan.
- Professional set-up, operation, and monitoring of the laminating machine for the production of multi-layer composites.
- Maintenance, cleaning of the laminating machine
- Slitting material produced from the laminators and extrusion machines into tapes as per the customer requirement, following strict quality procedures.
- Operate all production lines, after appropriate training.
- Support and help in the cross-training of other team members.
- Covering holiday and sick
- Control and optimization of production processes.
- Independent monitoring of ongoing production
- Preparation of all materials for laminating application and control.
- Adherence to time and quality requirements
- Process the material through the ERP Styeline system
- Ensuring that all company driven SOPs and instructions are followed.
- Making sure all codes used in Syteline are accurate and correct.
