Machining/General Operative (Focused on Vehicle Loading, Order Picking, Bandsaw Operation, and Overhead Crane Operation)
Location: Annesley
Our esteemed client in Annesley is currently undergoing significant expansion, leading to the need for skilled Machining/General Operatives to join their dynamic team. This role places a particular emphasis on proficiency in vehicle loading, order picking, bandsaw operation, and overhead crane operation.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday - Wednesday + Friday: 16:00 - 02:30
Payrate:
- £12.00-£12.50 per hour (experience-dependent) for 40 hours per week.
- Monthly bonus of £150-£250 based on target achievement.
Daily Duties:
- Efficiently picking and order picking items as per specifications.
- Operating bandsaw machinery with precision and safety.
- Handling goods inwards procedures.
- Loading and unloading lorries, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in a machining environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of operational processes.
- Proficient in overhead crane operation, with a keen focus on safety and precision.
- Comfortable managing heavy loads and working within specified weight limits.
- Preferably possesses FLT counterbalance experience.
- Holds a valid driving license, facilitating potential transportation tasks.
