- Position: Machine Operator
- Salary: £26,000 per annum
- Location: Horsham
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.
- Benefits: 4 weeks of holiday plus statutory holidays.
We are currently looking for two skilled and motivated individuals to join our clients team as Bandsaw Operators / Machine Operators. If you have experience in cutting aluminium and steel bar billets, operating high-speed bandsaws, and are adept at efficiently processing jobs while ensuring quality, we want to hear from you. This is an immediate opportunity to become a key part of our team, contributing to the production of high-quality materials. Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate high-speed bandsaws to cut aluminium and steel bar billets.
- Pick materials from stock locations.
- Process jobs efficiently and accurately.
- Complete necessary paperwork for each job.
- Package completed orders for shipment.
- Utilise forklift (FLT) experience to load metal onto the saw.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in bandsaw operation and machine operation.
- Forklift (FLT) experience for loading metal onto the saw.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
