We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join the team as a Machinery and Parts Sales Executive. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a strong blend of IT, numerical, and literacy skills.

A mechanical aptitude and familiarity with engines, particularly 2-stroke and 4-stroke, would be highly advantageous!

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service Excellence: Engage with customers visiting the showroom, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions. Your goal is to ensure a positive and informative customer experience that leads to sales and repeat business.
• Sales and Order Management: Accurately assess customer requirements and manage the end-to-end process of ordering the necessary parts or machinery. This includes placing orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and processing customer payments.
• Showroom Maintenance: Take pride in maintaining the appearance and organisation of the showroom. This involves restocking shelves, ensuring cleanliness, and effectively displaying the latest promotions to maximise sales opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Play a crucial role in managing the parts store, which includes re-stocking, conducting stocktakes, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across different departments to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, particularly in machinery or related fields, is desirable.
• Strong IT, numeracy, and literacy skills are essential for effective communication and transaction processing.
• Mechanical knowledge, especially regarding engines, will be highly regarded.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, as part of the role's requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
• Flexibility to work alternate Saturday mornings in addition to regular weekday hours.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with alternate Saturday mornings from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
