This role is a part-time position and based in Thorpe Park, Leeds, with a temporary requirement to work from our Bradford based office until the function has been transitioned to Thorpe Park.

Mail Room Operator
Location: Bradford & Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working.

As the Mail Room Operator, you will complete all postal and scanning activities for Overdales. This includes providing logs, volumes, and accurate updates for relevant stakeholders.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all incoming and outgoing post processes are achieved within SLA
  • Ensure that all scanning processes are achieved within SLA
  • Report any issues/downtime, outages, general updates, or any other interruptions to service
  • Ensure that correspondence is sorted and scanned to the correct area utilising knowledge of different areas work types to ensure that documents are handled in a timely manner, thus delivering a better customer experience
  • Ensure there is thorough checking of any cash received and it’s logged and stored securely. Highlighting any discrepancies
  • To help maintain documentation for all internal processes in relation to the mail service
  • Actively manages upwards to ensure that the Team Leader is aware of ongoing issues, risks, and opportunities
  • Ensure that our internal system is maintained according to GDPR regulations, so that information is up to date and easily available
  • Adhere to the SRA & FCA regulations.

  • Prior experience with document management is desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrable teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive work ethic
